Время: 1973 год, сразу после войны Судного дня.
Главный герой: Хаим, молодой репатриант из Польши, солдат ЦАХАЛя.
Армейский махсом (КПП) перекрывает дорогу № 60 на север - левым демонстрантам. Весь махсом - пара солдат и офицер.
Шуламит Алони, глава демонстрантов, пытается пройти.
Хаим: "Гверти, это оккупированные территории?"
Ш.А., с воодушевлением: " Да!!! "
Хаим: "Тогда, согласно международным законам, здесь правит оккупационная армия. Поэтому, вам прохода нет. И Ваша депутатская неприкосновенность здесь не действует - Вы можете быть арестованы".
Алони, потрясённая речью молодого солдата отходит. На помощь ей приходит молодой араб.
Хаим, на иврите: "Адони, прохода нет, согласно распоряжению Армии."
Араб, преисполненный национальной гордости: "I don't speak Hebrew!"
Хаим : "O, yes! You speak English!?"
Араб, гордо: " No!"
Хаим, несколько растерянно: " What language do you speak?"
Араб, (видимо выпускник университета им. "Патриса Лумумбы") ещё более гордо и победоносно, типа вставил оккупантам: "Russian!!"
Хаим, чеканя слова с тяжёлым польским акцентом:
..... " Ах ты ёб***я собака, не понимаешь, да?! Пошёл отсюда на х** , быстро!!!"
Потрясённый араб окаменел на несколько минут. Больше у него вопросов не было...

A defensive war is still a war with all its suffering and destruction. But Hamas compounded its original war crime with another. It held its own people hostage. It used them as human shields. It regarded every (accidental) death as another bullet in the propaganda war. The Goldstone report won the gold standard of moral equivalence between the killer and the victim. Now Britain wins the silver. Who's cheering?

Aren't the British sickened by the moral confusions of their government? First, we have the weasel words to justify the unjustifiable release of the Lockerbie bomber. Now we have the sickening spectacle of Britain failing to stand by Israel, the only democracy with an independent judiciary in the entire region. It was to be expected that the usual suspects of the risible UN human rights council would be eager to condemn Israel for war crimes in defending itself against Hamas. If you treat people as the Chinese do the Tibetans or Uighurs ("Off with their heads!"); or as the Russians eliminate Chechen dissidents; or as the Nigerians tolerate extrajudicial killings, the evictions of 800,000, rape and cruel treatment of prisoners; or as the Egyptians get prisoners to talk (torture) and the Saudis suppress half their population … well, go through the practices of all 25 states voting to refer Israel to the security council for the Gaza war, and you have to acknowledge they know a lot about the abuse of humans. Anything to divert attention from their own atrocities. Only six refused to join the farce – Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia, Ukraine and the US. Britain didn't just abstain. It shirked voting at all (along with those beacons of civilisation Angola, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, and surprisingly, France).

Of course, here the fig leaf for being scared of dictators, especially oil-rich abusers, is the report by the South African judge Richard Goldstone. Poor Judge Goldstone now regrets how his good name has been used to single out Israel. The Swiss paper Le Temps reports him complaining that "This draft [UN human rights council] resolution saddens me … there is not a single phrase condemning Hamas as we have done in the report. But during the night, the Palestinian Authority changes its colors and speaks and acts in a completely different manner. During the night, the Israeli enemy becomes a friend and peace partner with whom it's legitimate to conduct security coordination and eat in fancy restaurants. During Operation Cast Lead, Palestinian security officers in the West Bank provided Israel with valuable intelligence that contributed to the elimination of many Hamas operatives and "military targets." Moreover, the PA even pressured Israel not to stop the war unless Hamas was removed from power. In other words, the Palestinian Authority was telling Israel that it should continue bombing the Gaza Strip until Hamas surrendered. Palestinian officials, including some of Mahmoud Abbas's top aides, did not hide their disappointment when the war ended without the removal or collapse of Hamas. As soon as the war ended, the same Palestinian Authority that had urged Israel to "finish off the job," and that had provided Israel with vital information about Hamas figures and installations in the Gaza Strip, started accusing Israel of committing "war crimes." The developmental dynamics of terrorist organizations
(Submitted on 17 Jun 2009) Abstract: Traditional studies of terrorist group behavior focus on questions of political motivation, strategic choices, organizational structure, and material support, but say little about the basic laws that govern how the frequency and severity (number of deaths)of their attacks change over time. Here we study 3,143 fatal attacks carried out worldwide from 1968-2008 by 381 terrorist groups, and show that the frequency of a group's attacks accelerates along a universal trajectory, in which the time between attacks decreases according to a power law in the group's total experience; in contrast, attack severity is independent of organizational experience and organizational size. We show that the acceleration can be explained by organizational growth, and suggest that terrorist organizations may be best understood as firms whose primary product is political violence. These results are independent of many commonly studied social and political factors, suggesting a fundamental law for the dynamics of terrorism and a new approach to understanding political conflicts. http://arxiv.org/abs/0906.3287 Tags: gaza 2009

Поэтому операции по уничтожению террористов необходимо продолжать, с тем что-бы привести их популяцию к исчезновению.
Борцы за "права террористов", в свою очередь, стремятся занести их в "красную книгу" вымирающих видов, и запретить их отстрел. Вот с этой тенденцией необходимо бороться.
